Jarrett
I have been performing ln all genres of dance since the age of 3. My main passion is in the style of tap dance in which I have developed a unique tapping technique with the help of all my teachers over the years.
I’d like to take every opportunity given to me to help enhance my dancing and hopefully in the further future, I can use what I have learnt about the performance industry and to teach it to upcoming entertainers.
Jamie
Originally from New Zealand, Jamie studied under the British Ballet Organization (BBO) in tap, jazz and classical ballet, receiving many awards for his efforts including the PACANZ National Awards.
Aerobics was another art in which he became a national champion. Jamie entertained audiences for 2 years on television as a young entertainer. He played the lead role in 42nd Street in NZ and obtained his diploma of Musical Theatre at the Wellington Performing Arts Centre before leaving New Zealand to study hip-hop in Los Angeles.
Susan
Susan trained in Perth under the Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing and studied in jazz, tap, classical ballet, irish, hip-hop and musical theatre. She has performed in many competitions, floorshows, musical productions and corporate functions and received many awards for her achievements in dance and choreography. Most recently being nominated for 2016 Dance Teacher of the Year.
Nikki
I have been dancing for 18 years competing in a range of competitions.
Sitting various exams RAD, CSTD and in recent years competing in a variety of cheerleading comps. Teaching for the last 5 years I have loved watching the kids creativity, personalities and confidence boost with each lesson.
Tommy
My name is Tommy. I’ve been dancing since the age of 6. At the age of 12 I joined a hip hop crew as well as competing as a black belt in taekwondo. at the age of 15 I made the decision to make dance my career and joined Da Beat to study all genres of dance. I’ve always enjoyed teaching and choreographing and love that I get to work with Da Beats amazing students as well as continuing my own learning on the path to becoming a professional dancer.
Casey
I’m Casey Walton and have been dancing with my entire family since the age of three years of age. Growing up I have experienced my fair share of exams, completing CSTD and DMI silver star in tap as a teenager and bronze star in my theatrical studies. However developing knowledge in most genres, My profession is Tap having taught ages from 2-60+ in in the past 5 years. I have performed in multiple competitions, fundraisers and even on Tv with telethon. I am currently sharing my knowledge and experience to the students of Da Beat Dance school and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for each and every single one of them.

Katie
Kate has been a student teacher with us for many years and has taken up the role of teaching her own classes as of this year. She has been dancing since the age of three and been under the guidance of Susan and Jamie Rolton since 2010. Kate believes that dancing should be a fun and enjoyable experience and loves seeing her students accomplish their goals.
Holly
Holly started dancing at the age of three and loves all genres in particular; contemporary, tap and hip hop. She has been with Da Beat since 2012. Holly has enjoyed competing at competitions both state and national level. She started student teaching in 2010 and became a staff member at Da Beat early 2017. Holly has passed many different C.S.T.D and A.T.O.D. exams as well as completing her R.A.D. Advanced One Exam in 2016.
Stevie
Stevie is a dance/acro teacher at Da beat Dance Studio. She has been a dancer since the age of 4 years old and has competed in many competitions over the years. Susan and Jaime Rolton have made a big impact in guiding her throughout the years with experiences of teaching and becoming a dancer herself. She particularly enjoys teaching acrobatics, stretching and working on technique. Stevie also dances for the Perth wildcats basketball team.
Mel
My love of dance began at the age of 2 and I have never looked back.
2007 aged 11, I chose to peruse Ballet only which lead me to The Graduate College of Dance, graduating 2012 .
In 2013 I attended The Conservatoire full time for 2 years.
In 2015 I moved to Melbourne joining Victorian State Ballet Company.
2016 Returning home with new ambitions and goals, my passion for teaching

Greta has worked extensively all over Australia and throughout Singapore, New Zealand,
USA,Hong Kong and Malaysia performing, teaching, choreographing and adjudicating.
Greta’s choreography credits include the opening number of the ‘International Women’s Day’
Gold Coast Breakfast, ‘Make-a-Wish Foundation’ wish granting ceremonies and several Gold
Coast Musical Theatre productions including “13”, “Hairspray” and “Annie”.
