Equipped with full-length mirrors, ballet barres, professional sound systems and are creatively designed for the comfort of all students and their families.
Da Beat Dance Studio is proudly celebrating its 17th year in 2025.

Jamie and Suzi Rolton have worked together in the performing arts industry for the past 25 years. They are well recognised in the arts community and have received accolades for their choreography across competitions, corporate functions and musical productions. After travelling the world together performing with Carnival and Princess Cruiselines, they opened Da Beat Dance Studio in 2008, with Suzi being nominated dance teacher of the year in 2016 and 2021. Jamie has recently made a return to stage in The Boy From Oz, 42nd Street, Strictly Ballroom and A Chorus Line. In recent years they have choreographed Grease (2022), Saturday Night Fever (2024) and The Wedding Singer (2024) for Drew Anthony Creative and are looking forward to being part of the creative team featuring their choreography once again with Drew Anthony’s production of Footloose in 2025.
Suzi trained in Perth under the Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dance (CSTD) syllabus in the styles of jazz, tap and classical ballet. She also trained in Irish dance, hip hop and musical theatre.
Originally from New Zealand, Jamie studied under the Brith Ballet Organisation (BBO) in jazz, tap and classical ballet, receiving many awards over the years including the PACANZ Nationals Award for tap. Jamie entertained audiences on television for 2 years in NZ with the McDonalds Young Entertainers for TVNZ. He then obtained his diploma of Musical Theatre at the Wellington Performing Arts Centre prior to arriving in Perth and attending WAAPA in 2000.
