We are delighted to be offering the hugely successful EXCEL-ERATE programme once again in 2025 to our students. EXCEL-ERATE is Da Beat student exclusive and designed for dancers aged 7 years and older, who are wanting to enhance their technique & performance ability and be surrounded by other passionately driven students in a supportive class environment.
Taught by your studio directors and some exciting visiting guest teachers in 2025, this course includes progressive stretch exercises, conditioning exercises and techniques to strengthen muscles, increase agility, control and power in dance combos and solos. All kick, turn and jump techniques will be covered also. Both the IDT (International Dance Technique) and Godfrey Method syllabi will form a part of this outstanding programme. We aim to assist our driven and motivated students to reach their full potential as technical dancers, under our professional guidance. We have limited capacity for this course to ensure best results for all.
Auditions are held each January to attain a place in the programme for that same year.
Da Beat Dance Studio now offers a ten level acrobatics programme that children can progress through as they attain the flexibility, strength, balance and tumbling tricks required to pass each level. The programme is designed so that children are assessed due to their ability in acrobatics skills, not progression simply determined by the age of the student. This ensures that students at the same level of acrobatic proficiency are training together so that all students optimise their time spent and quality of tuition within each class.
We are very proud to be introducing our ACRO-ACHIEVE programme written by the head of our acrobatics department Miss Shahn Robertson within our studio for 2025 and beyond. Each child will receive a certificate and a ribbon of recognition and achievement as they pass through each of the levels of our programme.
